Meet the 2024 Neo Scholars

Hi Neo family,

Join us in congratulating the 32 exceptional CS students that we’re welcoming as Neo Scholars. We’ll offer these young leaders a year-long program of events, trips, and mentorship, as well as long-term membership in our community.

This culminates a 6-month process that involved much more than just evaluating candidates. Since May, we’ve helped applicants meet each other and mentors from the Neo community, as well as find great internships and full-time jobs via our recruiting platform. The process has entailed:

• 1,000 applicants

• 3,000 reference checks and 1,000 coding tests on CodeSignal and Byteboard

• 350 hours of live interviews conducted by more than 50 volunteer interviewers

• initial selection of 150 Scholar Finalists, a distinction that comes with 1:1 mentorship and long-term access to our recruiting platform

• dozens of mixers and info sessions in NY, Boston, SF, Palo Alto, and on Zoom

• almost 1,000 introductions between candidates and startups
